PubCoder launches beta and gets special mention at CONTEC Frankfurt

Last week, PubCoder launched the first public beta release of the interactive publishing tool.

At the moment, PubCoder already allows you to create highly interactive, multi-format and multi-language books on your Mac and export them in EPUB3 Fixed Layout (iBooks + Readium) and KF8 (Kindle) formats. In the near future, we will also add the ability to export books as native apps for iOS and Android devices. And yes, PubCoder will be available for Windows too.

The beta release, downloadable for free at, was launched during the 2013 Frankfurt Buchmesse. As co-founder and lead developer of PubCoder, I am really proud to announce that PubCoder was runner up with special mention at theĀ CONTEC Frankfurt International Publishing Startup Showcase, “for proprietary technology, focus and emphasis on learning but foremost for its philosophy”.

Actually the entire experience of the Frankfurt Book Fair was amazing, allowing us to create important connections and business opportunities and to speak with our future clients and hear what really matters for them. We listened to their feedbacks and we are working really hard to make PubCoder the best tool for interactive digital publishing.

You can actually download and use PubCoder for free while it’s in beta, so please go get it, use it and tell us what you think about it.

PubCoder is born

Today is a special day. In fact, this morning I was in H-FARM to co-found a new startup!

PubCoder, this is the name of the new company, aims to create a software platform to enable graphics designers to easily create and publish interactive multi-language eBooks for every tablet device, either in ePub 3 or as native apps.

My role is leading the development of the desktop authoring application, which is the heart of the platform.
A website with more informations about the project is on the way. Stay tuned.
