Today I released Deadlines Pro 1.1, an update for the deadlines manager and calculator app for iPhone and iPad.

Deadlines Pro 1.1 is queued for the usual Apple review and should be online on the App Store in a few days.

What’s new:
[NEW] Displays date and time of next alarm in deadline detail
[NEW] Support for multiple lines of text on notes field in deadline detail
[IMP] Displays long deadlines titles in two lines
[IMP] Improved readability of title field in deadline detail (iPhone)
[IMP] Improved dates computation speed
[IMP] Improved app sharing and feedback options
[IMP] Improved english and italian localizations
[FIX] Removed artifact displayed after deadline computation

I was looking at the Top Paid Apps in the Italian App Store when I noticed that Deadlines Pro is actually ranked number 39, above award-winning apps like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja, Documents To Go, djay and others. This is something to be proud of, especially because this is my first iOS app and I did almost nothing to promote it…

That Steve Jobs’ quote was actually referred to the original iMac, but that’s what I thought when I looked at the back of the NeXTcube shown at the Steve Jobs Exhibition in Turin’s Natural Science Museum. The exhibition was extended until April 15th and has some very rare pieces like an original Apple I. You gotta see this, expecially if you haven’t seen this yet.

New Setup

As I am no more a student and I spend even more time in front of my Mac, I decided it was time to look at something bigger than my MacBook Pro’s 15″ display and bought a 27″ LED Cinema Display. This should also provide better ergonomics and help me avoid frequent neck pain.
